Maid Planning

To All Ladies..... if you are working and want to have a Quality time with your Family ensure you have enough hands to help you out in other day to day things ( Household cleaning mopping......cooking....etc...) don't end up doing everything.

You are great Manager but at the same time you have capacity to carry out certain activities in a day. If you overdo that's not good for you and your family so "Delegate" which does not add Value.

Now sometimes Maids are more of a headache then help...explaining things again and again , handling their unplanned leaves ....ensuring they dont degrade the Quality of work etc etc ..you feel like doing all things on own. True agree and thats what we need to understand and work on .They are also human and as a human we can partner with them for Performance ..with this blog sharing my view points on effective maid planning. Effective maid planning can add a lot to your work life balance if you are working.

Following are Do's and Dont's for Effective Maid Planning :
  1. Explain them the profile well and stick to that.
  2. Dont personalise much. Do give them a helping hand but maintain professionalism.
  3. Dont give any thing which is of no use to your house , else rest of the things will be taken in the same way also you yourself will start expecting many things in return which if you dont get can turn things sour.Rather you donate these things to someone else in need  .
  4. Keep Bonus associated with Salary which should get attached to their leave planning.
  5. Dont get angry immediately if you see some mistake . Try to understand the root cause and act on the problem rather person.
  6. with little effectiveness if you handle your maid you will see wonders .
  7. If you have 2 maids then they will be good for you till they are competing as soon as they are friends ... you get to be careful....
Any better suggestions please post.
